“ The YW project was an important one for me to undertake because I for one am a woman and a mother and I support YW’s vision and mission to assist and empower the women in our city. For almost 10 years, I have been sponsoring two girls in Mexico supporting them financially and spiritually but YW’s project made me realize there are girls in our city whom are also in dire need of care and attention. I’m excited to be part of this project and creating pieces for YW building for my first public commission is truly meaningful.”
